Responsibilities

The Brand & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing select brands and corresponding customer acquisition strategies. Through the oversight of sound media investment, consistent research and translation of focused data, the Brand & Marketing Manager continually develops and adapts the identity and strategic direction of the brands they manage. This individual develops and executes product and brand positioning, as well as leads annual marketing planning and budgeting process.

  • Develop and lead the execution of the brand’s national and community level go-to-market strategies and plans.
  • Develop and maintain the vision, mission, identity, core values and essence as well as long-term strategic direction for all value brands.
  • Build superior brand equity and oversee brand performance as measured by key brand metrics, research findings, channel execution performance metrics and competitive environment.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated and efficient acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including (but not limited to) direct, digital, radio, print and outdoor media, and by providing key local resources that drive results. Analyze results and adjust approach as needed.
  • Create and drive marketing plan to acquire new customers through focused data and research- driven growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as creative, social media, paid media, corporate communications and digital marketing to produce marketing communications that drive demand into the business across all channels.
  • Lead brand’s website developments and enhancements. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to provide overall quality, including accurate and relevant content. Analyze data trends, search engine optimization and on-site analytics to inform actionable insights.
  • Develop customer lifecycle and provide consistent integration across all channels.
  • Define acquisition metrics and targets and connect marketing activities to business results.
  • Work collaboratively across the marketing function to integrate campaigns and adhere to overall brand look and feel. Maintain regular dialogue with creative and media teams to verify integration of message and media.
  • Manage projects on time and on budget as well as exhibit effective decision-making around investment alternatives that mitigate risk and maximize return.
  • Manage brand’s marketing budget by paying invoices on time; develop, understand, and report budget metrics and efficiencies; provide quarterization of the planned budget.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Integrated  Marketing/Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Minimum of eight (10) years working in a strategic marketing/advertising agency or corporate marketing department.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, strategic planning and tactical execution.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, both in preparing materials required and in delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing landscape.
  • Excellent presentation, problem solving, organizational, analytical, prioritization, delegation, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to travel approximately once a quarter, but this may vary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
