The HRIS Business Systems Analyst has two main areas of concentration, business process and systems support and project management. Business Process and Systems Support: This individual is the first point of contact for system-related issues from end users.  He/she tracks, diagnoses, replicates, troubleshoots, and resolves functional and technical issues reported by end users either independently or through collaboration with other Information Technology (IT) resources. Project Management: This individual plays a lead role on system projects and has frequent contact with end users, peers, and managers by coordinating, documenting, and maintaining multiple IT projects simultaneously from initiation through post-launch implementation.


Business Process and Systems Support:

  • Administer security for iCIMS and support other business systems as assigned.


  • Lead end user support and maintenance of iCIMs to include break fixes.

  • Recommend modifications for continually improving iCIMS including becoming a roadmap expert and leading the effort for improvements.

  • Serve as liaison and manage both vendor and internal client relationships for the Human Resources and Recruiting teams.

  • Serve as an HRIS business analyst by understanding and troubleshooting key integrations and assisting business clients as needed.

  • Develop training curriculum and conduct training sessions.

  • Create and maintain business process documentation for assigned business systems.


  • Monitor daily integrity reports and audit queries for assigned business systems.


  • Configure assigned business systems.

Project Management:


  • Document and translate business requirements into technical requirements to effectively communicate with developers and other required resources.
  • Effectively lead the “technology” portion of change efforts related to business process and systems changes.
  • Develop and manage project plans to implement business solutions; monitor and communicate progress of projects.
  • Collaborate with IT staff, business management and end users during all phases of planning, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting ERP and related business systems to ensure business requirements have been met.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews for new and modified systems and other post-implementation support.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field preferred.
  • Functional background in Human Resources, Payroll or Accounting.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience supporting, designing, and implementing enterprise business applications – ADP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, Ceridian or iCIMS.
  • Sound knowledge of Relational database theory, design and query writing – SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organization, prioritization, time management, decision making and project skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
