The Infrastructure Project Manager plans, coordinates, and directs activities for multiple information technology (IT) services, infrastructure, and operations projects. This includes, but is not limited to, facility IT installs (network, phone systems, PCs, POS, e-call, wireless, digital signage, and more). This individual ensures on-time installation that meets budget constraints and adheres to objectives and customer expectations.

  • Establish information technology (IT) project plans and deliverables. Direct and coordinate project activities, including but not limited to:
    • Planning
    • Client management
    • Schedule development and maintenance
    • Financial/Budget tracking
    • Status reporting
    • Risk management
    • Quality management
    • Vendor management
  • Determine the IT project scope, schedule and budget baselines for opening of new facilities and the redevelopment of existing facilities.
  • Identify and recommend training needs across all projects.
  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with customers, manager and vendors.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to deploy necessary assets to communities including PC’s, phone systems, network infrastructure and other technology assets.
  • Create and manage requisition of equipment and services for all projects.
  • Maintain specifications and configuration standards for IT infrastructure across all facilities.
  • Partner with application teams to coordinate setup of data and configure systems prior to go-live.
  • Work on other projects like infrastructure refresh projects.
  • Gather information to identify the necessary resources to meet project goals.
  • Assist in the development and execution of project communication plans.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully completing tasks on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external teams to accomplish tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Power over Ethernet, VoIP, Wireless Heat Maps, network cabling diagrams, CAT6, Fiber
    • Knowledge of Layers1, 2, and 3 OSI network model
    • Legacy PBX (Comdial, Avaya, Nortel)
    • LAN/WAN infrastructure, protocols, and technologies
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, nights or weekends, when necessary.
  • Travel required up to 25% of the time.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
