Responsibilities

The Benefits Intern provides administrative support to the Benefits and HR Help Desk team, assisting with meeting project deadlines, while ensuring compliance and quality standards are maintained. This individual successfully juggles multiple assignments, effectively communicates and demonstrates strong detail-orientation.

 

  • Assist in all administrative functions as assigned which includes, but is not limited to, data entry and validation, coordination of mailing projects, support of the leave of absence processes and event coordination.
  • Provide communication support on various benefits and HR programs
  • Assist with monitoring data processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and vendor obligations.
  • Manage special projects as assigned which may include compliance projects, creating process documents and assisting with administration of the Atria Rewards program.  
  • Create any special reports as requested.
  • Triage tickets for the HR Help Desk.
  • Clear the Paid Time Off payout work list.
  • Approve personal changes in Benefits Platform.
  • Serve as a back up to the Human Resources Administrator as needed.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Some college experience required. Will consider specific work experience.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of corporate or business administration experience preferred.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Strong customer service, detail orientation, multi-tasking, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.

Post-Offer Hiring Process
You’ll receive all needed forms, instructions and our contact information if you have any follow-up questions. This process may include a background check and/or a drug screen. COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of all positions – proof of vaccination is required before you can start.
