The Investments Group is at the forefront of the Company’s growth and has ownership of all new investments from initial valuation to deal structuring and closing. The group focuses on a range of transaction types, including new ground-up developments, single property, portfolio acquisitions, strategic redevelopments and management company transitions. The Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting the Investments Group in all aspects of their projects. 


Investment Evaluation

  • Develop financial models and property forecasts.
  • Understand transaction structure and capitalization.
  • Research and analyze local markets.
  • Coordinate and perform business due diligence.
  • Prepare executive presentations and strategic business plans for real estate development opportunities.

Deal Execution

  • Coordinate deal process and flow of due diligence information.
  • Communicate relevant project information to superiors.

Reporting and Presentation

  • Prepare periodic briefings for Company management by completing tasks including, but not limited to:
    • Analyzing historical performance of completed projects.
    • Tracking in-progress projects.
  • Prepare materials as needed for Company Board of Directors and Investment Committee.

May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in business).
  • One (1) to Five (5) years of financial, investment and/or strategic analysis experience preferred (real estate and/or seniors housing a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • May be required to travel up to 10% of the time on behalf of the Company.
  • Travel time is subject to change based on business needs.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Position may require driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle).
  • Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company motor vehicle policy standards and Travel Policy.


Analytical / Technical


  • Strong quantitative, financial analysis, and modeling (MS Excel) skills are a prerequisite.
  • Strong understanding of finance and real estate.
  • Extensive corporate modeling and valuation skills.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
  • Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis of data.
  • Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, creativity, and execution skills.
