Responsibilities

The Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the organization’s LMS and completes duties including, but not limited to, responding to and troubleshooting Help Desk tickets, LMS design, development, implementation, data governance, and system administration. The LMS Coordinator successfully handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, supporting the goal of furthering the Training team’s reach and success by leveraging the power of the LMS. 

  • Identify, research, and resolve user questions and issues received through the Help Desk system.
  • Assist with administrating the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading learning materials and assessments, creating course catalogs and evaluations, and producing reports as requested.
  • Assist with system launch, updates, and integrating tools.
  • Prepare reports that measure curriculum completion and compliance.
  • Maintain user profiles, manage learning assignments, apply rules, administer notifications, and distribute reporting data.
  • Assist with the development of LMS training and support materials (job aides, user guides, FAQs, etc.) that enhance the user experience.
  • Assist with developing LMS reporting analytics, dashboards, and views into data systems that drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize LMS utilization – ensure consistency in data input, maintain training platforms, security, learning records, historical training data, eLearning deployment, electronic surveys and assessments, and reporting on course activities.
  • Serve as a system coordinator, team player, and change agent for the utilization and growth of the LMS and for the support of using best practices in course delivery.
  • Assist with system and user administration tasks on the LMS.
  • Configure and maintain multiple LMS portal settings and dashboards as assigned.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required. Associate’s degree or certificate preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of work experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of experience with learning systems administration; experience with system upgrades and enhancement implementation, technical troubleshooting, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and
  • Able to learn and navigate new software quickly, with a strong thirst for knowledge.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a position that requires strong organizational skills and constant deadlines.
  • Experience independently and proactively problem-solving and resolving issues.
