Responsibilities

This individual works directly with senior management on both short- and long-term forecasting of the Company, which may include long term strategic planning, capital budgeting, debt structures, benchmarking, acquisition/disposition support and market/macroeconomic analysis.  Additionally, this individual assists senior management with articulating the Company’s performance, goals and objectives to various internal and external audiences.

 

  • Develop and maintain the short- and long-term financial model for the Company, which includes collaborating with department/segment leaders and compiling their respective forecasts into an overall Company model.
  • Work directly with senior management to articulate the Company’s performance, goals and objectives to internal/external audiences, including potential investors and creditors.
  • Assist with the analysis of potential acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Develop financial models to analyze the impact of various redevelopment, operational, or financing related strategies and draw conclusions, make recommendations and effectively communicate those recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist senior management with various projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, ideally in accounting, finance or similar field. (MBA preferred)
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance and real estate (seniors housing experience a plus).
  • Corporate modeling and valuation skills.
  • Computer skills including the advanced/expert use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial reporting software a plus.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
