Responsibilities
  • Create specifications for FF&E, window treatments, artwork and accessories.
  • Compile FF&E spec binders and Finish binders with samples.
  • Assist in design selections as needed.
  • Create scaled room layouts.
  • Order samples for the design library and for individual projects.
  • Schedule meetings with manufacturer’s reps.
  • Obtain quotes from purchasing agents and verify for accuracy.
  • Assist on-site with furniture installations, as needed.
  • Upload progress and finished photos to the project shared files.
  • Track punch list items.
  • Complete other special projects as assigned.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in Interior Design, or a related field at a four-year university or college preferred.
  • If currently enrolled in school, must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience demonstrating teamwork and critical thinking skills to accomplish tasks.

The Redevelopment Interior Design Intern coordinates the execution of interior and exterior design criteria at all phases of Redevelopment and Capital Improvements Interior Design projects in the area.
