The Licensing Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the update-to-date status of various business licenses required to operate the Company’s communities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain records, compile information, and submit forms and applications in order to keep the licenses held by the Company’s communities up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with state and local agencies to ensure timely and efficient license acquisition and renewal.
  • Work with internal accounts payable team to ensure prompt payment of license invoices.
  • Maintain licensing information in the Company’s on-line business licensing hub.
  • Prepare reports regarding licensing status to internal teams and the Company’s property owners.
  • Assist with license-related due diligence in connection with corporate transactions.
  • Research licensing requirements in connection with corporate transactions and business expansion.
  • Assist with maintaining entity-level organizational documents.
  • Maintain a high-level of knowledge in the field of expertise by attending approved continuing education courses and seminars.
  • Work with other functional groups to solve problems related to the operation of the Company’s fleet driver and vehicles.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer use; familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to research and document licensing issues.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a large volume of material and meet departmental deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented.
  • Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential.
