Responsibilities

Le porteur effectue quotidiennement la préparation des pièces et de l’aire commune (préparer une salle pour un nouveau résident) conformément aux normes de l’entreprise. De plus, le porteur aide le personnel d’entretien ou d’entretien ménager au besoin.

  • Vous maintenez les bureaux, des appartements et des espaces publics propres pour une communauté soignée et attrayante.
  • Offrir des services d’entretien des planchers pour différents types de planchers comme la moquette, les carreaux et le bois. Les services comprennent l’aspiration, le polissage, l’étanchéité, le décapage, etc.
  • Aidez-nous à préparer notre inventaire de logements pour les nouveaux résidents. Porter performs common area and room turns (getting a room ready for a new resident) on a daily basis in accordance with Company standards. In addition, the Porter assists maintenance or housekeeping personnel on an as-needed basis.

  • Provide cleaning services for business offices, apartments, interior and exterior public and common areas, and amenities of the community in a safe, neat, clean, and attractive condition.
  • Provide floor care services for carpet, tile, and wood floors and may include vacuuming, extracting, buffing, sealing, stripping, etc.
  • Help get our unit inventory ready for new residents. Standard unit turn tasks include, but are not limited to, installing cabinets or countertops, changing plumbing fixtures, replacing switches, light fixtures, or door knobs, and painting walls.
  • Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas.
  • Maintain all grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways and stairways, and building exteriors. Ensure garden areas are neat, clean, and in attractive condition at all times.
  • Perform basic maintenance-related work requests.
  • Mow lawn, trim shrubbery, and cultivate flowers as needed (varies by community).
  • Notify management of concerning needs for repairs.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions promptly to Supervisor.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work performed.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications

  • Must successfully complete all Holiday by Atria specified training programs.
  • Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
  • Able to safely use basic maintenance and landscape-related hand tools and light power tools, such as shovels, rakes, blowers, mowers, drills, saws, sanders, buffers, vacuuming, extractors, etc.
  • Porters will be required to work with caustic materials and cleaning equipment to fulfill their job responsibilities. They must be able to understand English well enough to read and comply with safety instructions for proper use of such materials and machinery to protect themselves and others (employees, residents, and guests) from injury.
