Responsibilities

The Search Media Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, measuring, and optimizing paid search plans to drive new customers to the Company’s various websites. This individual collaborates with internal stakeholders, our internal creative agency, and external SEM agency to build effective paid campaigns and ensure they are on strategy, on time, on-budget, and delivering maximum return on investment.

  • Manage day-to-day paid marketing activities across the Google Ads and Microsoft Bing Ads platforms, including campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance analysis, and optimization.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, low-performing keywords and ads, negative keywords, daily and monthly budget caps, campaign targeting, and other key account metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to test and optimize campaigns to improve performance, including audience targeting, keyword research and selection, ad group structuring, ad copywriting, and landing page testing.
  • Review Auction Insights, analyze the potential impact, and implement changes.
  • Upload 1st-party offline data for enhanced conversion tracking.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for overall account strategy and direction.
  • Conduct Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to identify opportunities for improvement and communicate on performance.
  • Research industry trends and adjust strategies to meet changing markets, competitive conditions, and keep pace with Pay Per Clicks (PPC)  trends and developments.
  • Gather competitive intelligence, including research on competitor keywords, ad copy, and landing pages.
  • Assist with the development of campaign landing pages.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field required.
  • Two (2) to three (3) or more years of proven experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Bing Ads strategy development, execution, management, and measurement. Google Ads Certification is preferred.
  • Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, meet real-time deadlines, set and achieve project budgets, and control quality.
  • Solid understanding of research tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics Certification is preferred.
  • Must possess strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, organizational, and verbal skills.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
