Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Research and Insights is accountable for directing, designing, and implementing research for the Atria Management Company. This individual works cross functionally with multiple divisions to define research needs based on strategic business objectives. This individual translates research into actionable insights that create a distinct competitive advantage for the business. 

 

  • Partner with leaders to discover which business questions can be answered through market research or other data analysis.
  • Create and lead the execution of annual research and data analysis plans which includes budget proposals and management.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Responsible for quantitative and qualitative research plans, execution, and analysis.
  • Identify and execute appropriate market research methodologies that most effectively provide insights that drive marketing strategy and profitability.
  • Manage third party research vendors.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to augment findings from market research such as social listening, news and industry trends and reports/data to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Analyze and communicate research findings to brand leaders, sales, executive team, etc.  
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in marketing with at least five (5) years in a concentrated research role.
  • Proven track record in marketing and sales funnel growth.
  • Thorough understanding of research from planning to methodology and implementation.
  • Demonstrated success making decisions that reflect deep thinking and a balance of enthusiasm, insight, judgment, and discretion.
  • Experienced strategic writer with the ability to provide persuasive and clear, written and verbal direction.
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficient.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
