Responsibilities

The Senior Business Systems Analyst has two main areas of concentration: (a) business process and systems support and (b) project management. Business Process and Systems Support: This individual is the first point of contact for system-related issues from end users, and also serves as a point of escalation for Analysts. He/she tracks, diagnoses, replicates, troubleshoots and resolves functional and technical issues reported by end users or analysts either independently or through collaboration with other Information Technology (IT) resources. Project Management: This individual plays a lead role on system projects and has frequent contact with end users, peers and managers by coordinating, documenting and maintaining multiple IT projects simultaneously from initiation through post-launch implementation.

 

This position reports onsite at our Corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. 

 

Business Process and Systems Support:

  • Ensure proper security administration for assigned business system(s)
  • Oversee end user support and maintenance of assigned business system and develop/implement strategies for continually improving these systems.
  • Guarantee proper development of training curriculum and conduct training sessions.
  • Create and maintain business process documentation for assigned business system.
  • Supervise the configuration of assigned business system.
  • Monitor daily integrity reports and audit queries for assigned business system(s).

Project Management:

 

  • Lead the documentation and translation of business requirements into technical requirements to effectively communicate with developers and other required resources.
  • Effectively lead and manage the “technology” portion of change efforts related to business process and systems changes.
  • Develop and manage project plans to implement business solutions; monitor and communicate progress of projects.
  • Collaborate with IT staff, business management, and end users during all phases of planning, designing, developing, implementing and supporting ERP and related business systems to ensure business requirements have been met.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews for new and modified systems and other post-implementation support.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Functional background in Human Resources, Payroll or Accounting.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of experience supporting, designing, and implementing enterprise business applications – ADP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, Ceridian or Oracle.
  • Sound knowledge of Relational database theory, design, and query writing – SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organization, prioritization, time management, decision making and project skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
